Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kane KO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Nastie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nastie's choice of entrance music: Roots Bloody Roots by Sepultura. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kane KO! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bo Nastie! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! KO looks to land a combination but Nastie avoids it well. Nastie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. KO is looking to regain half guard here but Nastie keeps moving and retains side control. An elbow from Nastie crashes against the mat.
KO tries to improve position but can't. KO manages to get back to half guard. KO tries to roll over but Nastie keeps him under control. KO is pressing down on Nastie's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. KO tries to land a sweep but no joy. KO utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. KO has his foot on Nastie's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nastie works his way back into a safe position though. KO is looking for a triangle but Nastie pushes his legs off easily.
Nastie wants to control from the top but KO keeps moving. KO throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nastie content to stall in guard here. Nastie trying to control but KO is working from the bottom. KO manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Nastie prevents KO from taking his back. KO is breathing heavily. Nastie wants to hold on but KO pushes him away. KO wants to finish this one by submission but Nastie is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from KO. KO is working for a guillotine from mount but Nastie frees his head quite easily.
Nastie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. KO swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Nastie is now in KO's guard. A big mistake from KO there, giving up the dominant position! Nastie chips away with some ground and pound. KO really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. KO tries to land a sweep but no joy. KO had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nastie is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. KO Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nastie's back instead. KO misses with an elbow to the head. KO is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Nastie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with KO. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. KO is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Nastie with him. Nastie is trying to defend but KO has an arm under the chin now! Nastie grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kane KO!
