Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dominickoy Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devin Morningstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Maia might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to techno viking. Devin Morningstar looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia misses with a takedown attempt
and Morningstar counters with a crisp one two that drops Maia! Morningstar thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Maia to his feet! Maia is in big trouble!
Maia is rocked!
Morningstar misses the shot to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Maia doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Morningstar counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Maia thinking.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice uppercut there from Morningstar.

Morningstar misses with an uppercut. Maia saw that one coming.
Maia doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Morningstar counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Dominickoy Maia has been cut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dominickoy Maia. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Morningstar cracks Maia with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Maia tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Morningstar pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Maia is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
