Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peek Boo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Monton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boo has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Boo counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Monton is looking to control Boo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Monton avoid being mounted?
Boo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Boo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Monton's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Monton has momentary wrist control but Boo slips an elbow through the middle.
Monton manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Peek Boo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boo suckers Monton into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Boo is now in Monton's guard!
Boo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Monton swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mike Monton wasn't active enough on the ground.

Monton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Boo counters with a two punch combo.

Monton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Boo is fending him off so far but Monton persists. Nope, Boo circles away and we're back to standing.

and Monton counters with a big head kick but Boo shrugs it off.
Boo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Monton tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Boo is in Monton's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Boo is stalling here. Monton is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Boo seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Monton has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Boo is looking to regain half guard here but Monton keeps moving and retains side control.

Monton wants to stand but Boo has his arm trapped.

I would just about give that final round to Mike Monton.
