The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzianowski throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Pudzianowski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Kukushkin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kukushkin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pudzianowski instigates a clinch.
Pudzianowski looking for a takedown.
Pudzianowski drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pudzianowski trying to control the position but instead, Kukushkin has worked for underhooks and has pushed Pudzianowski into the ropes.

Alex Kukushkin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mariusz Pudzianowski.
Kukushkin is trying to push Pudzianowski away but Pudzianowski has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Pudzianowski struggles to land a body shot inside as Kukushkin controls his hands.
Kukushkin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

and Pudzianowski counters with a nice body kick.

Kukushkin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pudzianowski.
Kukushkin misses with an uppercut
and Pudzianowski counters by moving into the clinch.
Kukushkin breaks from the clinch.
Kukushkin throws a big shot that misses.
Pudzianowski tries to close the distance and clinch but Kukushkin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pudzianowski.
Kukushkin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kukushkin lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Mariusz Pudzianowski has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kukushkin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pudzianowski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kukushkin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Kukushkin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Pudzianowski throws a front kick aimed at Kukushkin's knee but Kukushkin avoids it well.
Pudzianowski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A nice leg kick lands there from Pudzianowski.
Jab, jab by Kukushkin - just one landing.
Kukushkin loads up on a big right hand but Pudzianowski slips the punch.
Kukushkin avoids the body shot from Pudzianowski.
Kukushkin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pudzianowski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pudzianowski misses with a kick to the body.
Kukushkin drops Pudzianowski with a beautiful combination! Pudzianowski stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kukushkin is looking for the KO!
Pudzianowski is rocked!
Pudzianowski looks gassed!
Pudzianowski leaves his chin hanging out and Kukushkin seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Pudzianowski crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
