Gattuso comes to the cage accompanied by Wiz Khalifa - On my level. Dennis Gavin has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ante Gattuso's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Gattuso, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Gavin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Gattuso fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gavin manages to avoid it.
Dennis Gavin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Gavin misses the shot to the body.
Gattuso throws a hook but Gavin blocks it.
Gavin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gattuso swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gavin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Ante Gattuso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gattuso is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gavin connects with a leg kick. Gattuso looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
