Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Tony!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buck Shot!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shot throws a leg kick
and Tony counters with a head kick. That will keep Shot thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
James Tony seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tony checks a leg kick nicely.
Shot throws a solid leg kick but Tony takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Shot.
Shot tries to score with a low kick but Tony moves his leg out of the way.

Tony shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Shot is trying to defend but Tony finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Tony trying to mount his opponent but Shot defends it.
Shot tries to kick Tony off but Tony keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tony missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Tony has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Tony lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.


Shot is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tony controlling from the full mount.
Shot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tony. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tony postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Shot in real trouble here! The ref calls for Shot to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Tony!
