Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lapu Lapu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Ramos!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramos drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ramos working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Lapu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ramos on the ground.
Ramos looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
It looks like Ramos might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tony Ramos wasn't active enough on the ground.
Lapu looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Lapu throws a head kick but Ramos moves out of range.
Lapu looks for the body kick but Ramos saw that one coming.

Ramos looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Ramos is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lapu defends it well.

Ramos missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Ramos takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Ramos throwing shots but Lapu is blocking nicely.
Ramos not doing much here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lapu tries to kick Ramos off but Ramos keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Ramos thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lapu's head.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ramos's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Lapu is breathing heavily.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tony Ramos was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Ramos manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lapu on his heels. He'll look to pass Lapu's guard now, I'm sure.
Ramos passes Lapu's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Lapu on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Ramos lands with a punch from half guard.

Ramos is trying for a kimura here. Lapu looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Ramos wins by kimura!
