Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brel shoots in but Faber avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Faber fails in his attempt to clinch.
Faber moves into range and clinches up with Brel.
Faber is pressed up against the cage. Brel has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Faber down to the mat. Faber avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Faber keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Brel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Brel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Faber's waist but Faber gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brel off to one side.

Faber throws a series of strikes that have Brel backpedaling.

Whack! Faber lands a heavy head kick that drops Brel. The ref tackles Faber to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Brel was done.
