Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hunter Gavin !
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gavin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but White paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A combination from White does no damage.
Gavin doesn't manage to clinch there - White circles away.
Gavin works over White's head and body with a nice combination.


It looks like John White has been cut.

White shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gavin is trying to defend but White finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
White is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gavin wants to get up but he can't break White's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

White has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Gavin off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

White drives through and clinches with Gavin against the cage.
