Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Victor Romero!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero connects with a looping right hand.
Nice takedown defense from Gracie. No joy for Romero on that attempt.
Romero paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Gracie scores a takedown into full mount!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Gracie working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Romero is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gracie has hold of Romero's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Romero manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Romero tries to hold on but Gracie postures up.
Gracie working for a submission but Romero is keeping him at bay.

Gracie has control of Romero's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Romero regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Romero defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Gracie.
Gracie jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Romero is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Romero and Gracie has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Romero has escaped the position, nice work there.

Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Romero can't do much from the bottom here.
Gracie swings around for an armbar but Romero sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracie's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gracie has his foot on Romero's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Romero works his way back into a safe position though.
Romero is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Gracie looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Romero pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now.

Romero thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Gracie is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Romero frees his head nicely. Oh but Gracie has switched to an armbar! Romero is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
