Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon McBacon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simon McBacon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thomas Jefferson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon McBacon! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McBacon connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jefferson momentarily.
McBacon pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jefferson fails with the takedown. McBacon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McBacon drops Jefferson with a right and a left! McBacon comes rushing in but Jefferson regains his composure and manages to keep McBacon in guard.
It looks like Thomas Jefferson has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McBacon lands a couple of digs. McBacon preventing the sweep. Jefferson is working hard here to advance position. Jefferson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McBacon is aware though and is defending well. Jefferson is looking for a triangle but McBacon pushes his legs off easily.
McBacon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jefferson looking to hit a scissor sweep but McBacon is one step ahead there. McBacon throws a big right hand that misses. McBacon working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jefferson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jefferson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jefferson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Jefferson looking to hit a scissor sweep but McBacon is one step ahead there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Jefferson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Jefferson looking to finish with strikes here!
Jefferson has hold of McBacon's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and McBacon manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
McBacon really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jefferson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Jefferson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. McBacon can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. McBacon is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jefferson is working for a guillotine from mount but McBacon frees his head quite easily.
Jefferson putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jefferson looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Jefferson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. McBacon is looking to get to half guard. Jefferson postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt McBacon bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Jefferson and the fight is over!
