Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buck Ewing!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean Justice!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Dean Styles and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ewing smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Justice scores with a takedown into Ewing's guard.
Justice is looking to work some ground and pound but Ewing has wrist control.
Justice must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ewing looking to control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Buck Ewing wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Justice has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Justice throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ewing walks into a left hand.

Justice is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Justice lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Justice smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Justice buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Justice misses with a wild body shot.

Justice shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ewing's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ewing looking for a sweep. Not yet Ewing, not yet.

Justice got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ewing has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Justice has managed to get both his arms back between Ewing's legs - danger averted.
Justice seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Let's hope that Justice has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Justice stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ewing swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Justice might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sean Justice hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Justice lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Justice.

Sloppy strikes from Justice. Those never looked like landing.
Justice lands a front kick.
Ewing avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sean Justice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Justice fails to land with a series of punches.
Justice slips a jab and a cross from Ewing.
Ewing misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Justice looks to land a combination but Ewing avoids it well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ewing avoids a punch combination nicely.

Ewing gets caught flat footed, as Justice shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Ewing looking to hit a scissor sweep but Justice is one step ahead there.
Ewing utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Justice keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ewing's head.

Justice throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ewing works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Justice controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Ewing avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Justice tries to free his leg and advance position but Ewing is retaining full guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Sean Justice.
Justice tries a head kick but it misses.
Justice swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ewing cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Justice throws a big shot that misses.
Justice looks for the body kick but Ewing saw that one coming.
Justice lands a jab to Ewing's midsection.
Justice throws a right and a left that both miss.

Justice shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ewing is trying to get back to full guard.

Justice is trying to work for a kimura but Ewing is defending well.

Ewing is trying to maintain the position but Justice is very close to passing his half guard.
Ewing wants to get back to full guard but Justice has mounted him!
Ewing tries to reverse the position but Justice maintains control.
Ewing takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Justice takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sean Justice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Justice throws an overhand right that lands on Ewing's shoulder, as Ewing tries to avoid the shot.
Justice thuds his right hand into Ewing's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and Justice counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Still in half guard, Justice seems content to control.

Justice's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Ewing is trying to control but Justice passes into side control!
The strikes coming from Justice are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Ewing tries to buck Justice off but Justice is having none of it.
Ewing trying to remain calm as Justice controls from the top position.
Buck Ewing has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Justice is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ewing can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ewing keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Ewing tries to hold on but Justice pushes him away.

Sean Justice is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Ewing tries to lock up and control but Justice gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Sean Justice comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Justice has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
