The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alighieri dodges the punch combination from Tahi.
Tahi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tahi slips a jab and a cross from Alighieri.
Alighieri walks into a stiff left hand from Tahi.
Alighieri throws a series of punches but Tahi avoids them all with ease.
Tahi scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Alighieri misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Alighieri ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tahi moves away.
Alighieri tried to score with a low kick but Tahi checks it.

and Tahi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Tahi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Tahi is looking to clinch but Alighieri is avoiding it.

Alighieri moves into range and clinches up with Tahi.
Tahi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Alighieri just stands there and leans against the cage.

Alighieri lands a hook that snaps the head of Tahi backwards.

Tahi is still in real trouble! Can Alighieri finish him?
Alighieri cracks Tahi with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Alighieri immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Tahi is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Alighieri!
