Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kake Nyrkki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Data Base (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Base is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: HERE WE GOOOOO!. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Base misses with a takedown attempt - Nyrkki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nyrkki displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Base.
Base motions for Nyrkki to come forward. Base throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Base has his takedown stuffed
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Kake Nyrkki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Data Base.
Nyrkki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Base moves away.
Base blocks a jab.
Nyrkki tries to clinch but Base is having none of it.
Nyrkki stuffs the takedown.
Nyrkki is looking to clinch but Base is avoiding it.
Base swats away the attempt to clinch by Nyrkki.
Base lands with a hook. Nyrkki tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Nyrkki misses with a double jab.
Base throws a nice looking combination but Nyrkki bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nyrkki moves out of range of the strikes.
Base thows a body kick. Nyrkki tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Nyrkki lands a head kick!
Base misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Base closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Nyrkki moves into the clinch.
Nyrkki lands a body shot in the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Nyrkki creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Base's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Base fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Nyrkki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Base pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nyrkki bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Base's head backwards.
Base thows a body shot but no joy.
Nyrkki throws a leg kick that misses.
Base is looking to clinch.
Base has his takedown stuffed
and Nyrkki counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Base fails to land with a series of punches.
Base misses with a takedown attempt
and Nyrkki counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Base looks gassed!
Base throws a hook to the side of Nyrkki's head but Nyrkki sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nyrkki instigates a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nyrkki lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Nyrkki lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Base.
Nyrkki lands a body punch.
Base fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Nyrkki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Good leg kick by Nyrkki there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nice body kick there by Nyrkki.
Nyrkki thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Base if he has to take too many more of those.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nyrkki throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Base.
Base is rocked!
Nyrkki cracks Base with a left hook right on the temple and Base goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Nyrkki lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Base is OK!
