Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fong Sai Yuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson comes to the cage accompanied by Danzig - Mother. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sai Yuk needs to keep his hands up - Thompson had a free shot at his head there.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Rick Thompson will probably get the nod.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Sai Yuk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thompson tries to avoid it but Sai Yuk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thompson to the ground. Thompson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sai Yuk looks to score with a jab to the body but Thompson is just out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Sai Yuk counters with a shoot takedown. Thompson fights it but they end up in guard.

Fong Sai Yuk has got the better of the ground game so far.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sai Yuk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Thompson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Thompson wants it to stay on the feet.

Sai Yuk's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Thompson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sai Yuk scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sai Yuk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Thompson counters with a three punch combo that has Sai Yuk backing up. Sai Yuk nods at Thompson to acknowledge the strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Thompson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sai Yuk looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Thompson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A jab lands there for Thompson.
The cut above Fong Sai Yuk's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Fong Sai Yuk's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
