Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries for a takedown but Brands sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Brands has closed the distance and engaged Jones in a clinch.
Brands has clasped his hands together around Jones's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Jones dodges the ground and pound from Brands.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones tries to bench press Brands off him but Brands keeps the position.
Brands decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jones to his feet.
Brands takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brands as he avoids it easily.
Jones tries to clinch up but Brands circles away and keeps his distance.
Brands on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jones clinches up with Brands and pushes him back against the cage.
Brands lands with a right to the head.
Jones drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zedicus Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brands gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Jones regains guard.
Brands really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Brands stuffs the takedown.
Jones scores with a head kick.

Brands avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones has a takedown stuffed.
Jones is breathing heavily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brands looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Brands fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jones looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Brands counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Jones wants to stand but Brands is controlling the position.
Jones is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jones wants to stand up but Brands is controlling him.
Jones manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
