Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danny Montaner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wagani Silvia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silvia is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Roll With It. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montaner tries to clinch up.

Silvia seems to be working for a kimura but Montaner defends the submission attempt.

Silvia has hold of Montaner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Montaner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Montaner defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Silvia.
Silvia misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

You get the feeling that Montaner really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Silvia is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Montaner can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
