Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chad Brewster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brewster comes to the cage accompanied by Way of the Fist. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chad Brewster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nate Jones! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones thows a body kick. Brewster tries to catch it but that hurt him. Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Brewster displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab. Jones lands a head kick. Brewster smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Brewster shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Jones. Horrible takedown by Brewster or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad. Jones throws a jab when Brewster was well out of range. Jones throws a head kick that Brewster semi-blocks.
Brewster throws a half hearted mid kick. Jones moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Brewster fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chad Brewster. That's going to take a lot out of him. A big right from Jones misses. Jones is looking to land body kicks. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brewster fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brewster feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Brewster stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet. Brewster looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brewster trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brewster has gone for a leg lock! Jones slips out almost immediately though and dives into Brewster's guard. Brewster tries to land a sweep but no joy. Brewster pushes a forearm under Jones's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jones is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Chad Brewster!
