Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Connely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sampsa Siloposki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sampsa Siloposki acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Connely! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sampsa Siloposki! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Connely avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Connely lunges at Siloposki with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Siloposki's hand. Connely drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Siloposki looking for a sweep. Not yet Siloposki, not yet. Connely throwing strikes but missing. Siloposki manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Connely cracks Siloposki with a good jab. Connely throws a looping overhand right but Siloposki ducks down to avoid it. Siloposki throws a sloppy head kick and Connely finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Connely throws out a loose jab but Siloposki uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Connely shoots in looking for a takedown. Siloposki tries to sprawl out of it but Connely keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Siloposki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Connely ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Siloposki moves away. Siloposki misses with a head kick.
Siloposki slips a straight right by Connely. Connely thumps Siloposki with a low kick. A jab from Siloposki misses. Connely swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Siloposki. A slow jab from Connely misses its intended target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Connely misses with a hook. Siloposki ducked under it nicely. Siloposki keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Connely. Connely lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Siloposki backs up against the cage.
Connely throws a body punch but Siloposki moves out of range. Connely lands with a cross. Sampsa Siloposki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Connely misses with a hook. Siloposki ducked under it nicely. Connely buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action! A swing and a miss from Siloposki. Connely shoots in and bounces Siloposki off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Siloposki wants to sweep but no luck. Connely is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Siloposki avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Connely stays in close to Siloposki's body and controls the position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Connely trying to control but Siloposki is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Chris Connely. Siloposki on the wrong end of a nice jab. Connely lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Connely fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Connely throws a combination that misses and Siloposki counters with a left to the body. Connely's corner calls for a 1-2. Connely obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Siloposki throws a nice inside leg kick. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Connely with a nice cross. A slow jab from Connely misses its intended target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Connely dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Siloposki doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Nice defenses there by Siloposki. Connely throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Siloposki counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Connely fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Siloposki avoids it really well and circles away. Nice jab there from Connely. A low kick from Connely is predictable there and Siloposki counters with a three punch combo that has Connely backing up. Connely nods at Siloposki to acknowledge the strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Connely lands with a right hand. Siloposki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Siloposki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

It looks like Chris Connely has been cut. Siloposki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Connely circles away quickly and effectively. Siloposki slips a jab from Connely. Nice uppercut lands for Connely. That snapped Siloposki's head back.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Connely looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Connely. That's going to take a lot out of him. Siloposki is looking to clinch but Connely is avoiding it.

Siloposki tries to bum rush Connely with a series of wild strikes but Connely uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Connely scores with a jab. Connely throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Connely throws the kick towards the body but Siloposki avoids it. Siloposki lands a body shot.

Connely throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Connely throws a right hand that Siloposki ducks under and follows up with a left that Siloposki also avoids with ease.

Siloposki uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Connely. Siloposki displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Connely. Siloposki walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Siloposki throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Siloposki connects with a crisp jab. Siloposki lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Oh Connely is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Siloposki throws an overhand right that lands on Connely's shoulder, as Connely tries to avoid the shot. Connely seems to have got his legs back now. Siloposki throws a hook but Connely avoids it easily. A decent looking body kick lands there for Siloposki. Siloposki fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Connely to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Connely looks to clinch but Siloposki throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Connely taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
