The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mc Donald has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Richards finds it's way round the side to connect with Mc Donald's head. Richards scores with a decent looking hook. Mc Donald misses with a leg kick and Richards counters with a lovely straight right hand! Richards tries to sprawl but Mc Donald drives through with a takedown into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Richards avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mc Donald. Richards misses with some strikes from the bottom.
