Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johannes Liechtenauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andres Bonifacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonifacio is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: push me!!!. Johannes Liechtenauer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Liechtenauer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Bonifacio should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Bonifacio might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Liechtenauer kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bonifacio connects with a nice short shot to Liechtenauer's temple.

I really don't envy Bonifacio right now.

Andres Bonifacio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Liechtenauer is in all sorts of trouble here.

Bonifacio is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Liechtenauer to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Liechtenauer shrugs it off.

Bonifacio working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Liechtenauer turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Bonifacio off and cradles Liechtenauer's limp body as Bonifacio celebrates with his corner.
