Mir comes to the cage accompanied by Go Ninja- Vanilla Ice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kain tries to roll over but Mir keeps him under control.
Mir controlling the pace.
Mir uses his free foot to push down on Kain's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kain.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Mir looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mir wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Kain keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kain is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Mir swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
