PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Gadd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tragon Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dux's choice of entrance music: Countdown to Extinction. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gadd circles away from the clinch attempt.

Gadd drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dux pulls his leg out and moves away.

Dux feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gadds jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Dux might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gadd kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tragon Dux hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Gadd is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dux knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That was a close round but I would say that Paul Gadd will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
