Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Tabarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moises Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tabarez comes to the cage accompanied by Die motherfu**** die. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Antonio Tabarez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Moises Mir! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tabarez fails with the takedown. A momentary lapse in concentration from Mir enables Tabarez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mir manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Tabarez has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Mir looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mir looking to control.

Mir tries to throw a body punch but Tabarez avoids it by throwing Mir back against the cage. Tabarez is trying to break the clinch but Mir is controlling him. Tabarez was covering up waiting for the punch and Mir finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mir working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mir throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tabarez works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tabarez wants to sweep here but Mir controlling him for the moment. Mir is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Mir forces his way into half guard. Mir moves nicely into side control. Mir sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Tabarez is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Mir has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mir works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Mir looks up at the clock and then as Tabarez takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mir smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tabarez takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Tabarez is not content to let Mir control the position. Tabarez is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Tabarez on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mir tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Mir lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Moises Mir dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Mir working some strikes from top position. Mir throwing strikes but missing. Mir chips away with some ground and pound. Mir throws a big right hand that misses. Moises Mir has got the better of the ground game so far. Mir trying to control the position from guard on top but Tabarez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Moises Mir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Mir shoots and misses enabling Tabarez to counter with a crisp jab. Tabarez throws an overhand right that lands on Mir's shoulder, as Mir tries to avoid the shot. Mir shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mir was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Mir lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mir has hold of Tabarez's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tabarez manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
