Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aslak Mustapaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Richter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mustapaa comes into the arena with Children of Bodom - In Your Face blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Aslak Mustapaa has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mustapaa paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A combination from Richter does no damage.
Richter moves away from the strike by Mustapaa.
Richter blocks a jab.
Richter misses with a double jab.
Richter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Horrible takedown by Richter or perhaps it was just good defense by Mustapaa which made him look bad.
Richter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mustapaa swivels and escapes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mustapaa is looking to stand up but Richter won't let him.

Richter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mustapaa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Richter is on top in guard.
Mustapaa seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Richter is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Mustapaa is defending well though. Richter let's go of the attempt for now.

Richter misses with a takedown attempt - Mustapaa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mustapaa throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Richter on the side of the head.

John Richter's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Richter shoots in but Mustapaa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mustapaa scores with a one two! Richter had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at John Richter's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
