Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Berik Yawoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gideon Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yawoka's entrance music is keep running up that hill. A fine choice. Gideon Gonzalez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yawoka shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Yawoka sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Yawoka trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Yawoka wants to control from the top but Gonzalez keeps moving.
Yawoka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gonzalez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Yawoka has gone for a leg lock! Gonzalez slips out almost immediately though and dives into Yawoka's guard.

Yawoka is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Yawoka manages to break the clinch.
Gonzalez feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Yawoka's calf.
Gonzalez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Berik Yawoka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good leg kick by Gonzalez there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Yawoka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gonzalez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Yawoka throws a sloppy head kick
and Gonzalez counters with a big head kick but Yawoka shrugs it off.
Gonzalez scores with a head kick. Yawoka tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Gonzalez lands with a kick to the temple. Yawoka shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Gonzalez throws a head kick that Yawoka semi-blocks.
Yawoka moves in looking to clinch but Gonzalez pushes him off.
Gonzalez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
No luck for Yawoka with that takedown attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gonzalez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Yawoka to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Yawoka is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Yawoka has gone for a leg lock! Gonzalez slips out almost immediately though and dives into Yawoka's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

We're going to have a standup here because Berik Yawoka wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Gonzalez tries a head kick but it misses.
Yawoka shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gonzalez napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gonzalez tries to buck Yawoka off but Yawoka is having none of it.
Yawoka throws a strike aimed at the side of Gonzalez's head but Gonzalez avoids it well.

Yawoka tries to clinch but Gonzalez is having none of it.
Yawoka closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Yawoka is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gonzalez has escaped the position, nice work there.
Yawoka is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Gonzalez will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Yawoka tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Yawoka wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gonzalez, who protects the arm well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Yawoka looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Gonzalez wants to control but Yawoka postures up.
Yawoka controls the position.

Yawoka wants to control for a moment but Gonzalez uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Yawoka perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Yawoka seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gonzalez for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Yawoka wants to pass the guard but Gonzalez is defending well.
Berik Yawoka has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Yawoka sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Yawoka shoots in for a takedown but Gonzalez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Gonzalez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Yawoka shoots in looking for a takedown but Gonzalez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yawoka's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gonzalez throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Gonzalez thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Yawoka if he has to take too many more of those.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Gonzalez counters with a big head kick but Yawoka shrugs it off.
Yawoka throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gonzalez was covering up waiting for the punch and Yawoka finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Gonzalez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Gonzalez feints and then cracks Yawoka's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yawoka down.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gonzalez.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Yawoka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gonzalez's guard.

Yawoka drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gonzalez dives on top into guard.

Gideon Gonzalez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Gonzalez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
