Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandr Dubov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olav Gurlukovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Olav Gurlukovich was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aleksandr Dubov! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Olav Gurlukovich! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gurlukovich darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Gurlukovich wants to work for an arm triangle but Dubov is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dubov wants to stand back up but Gurlukovich manages to pass into side control.
Dubov looks to move to half guard but instead Gurlukovich has passed into mount! Damn! Dubov is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.
Gurlukovich has control of Dubov's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dubov regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Dubov tries to buck Gurlukovich off but he can't manage it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gurlukovich jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dubov manages to avoid the submission attempt. Gurlukovich tries for a kimura but Dubov is defending well. Gurlukovich advances nicely into full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dubov tries to improve his position but instead Gurlukovich has taken his back! Dubov turns into Gurlukovich and is now in his guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dubov wants to stand and escape but instead Gurlukovich has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Dubov really is a fat lump. Dubov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gurlukovich doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gurlukovich manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gurlukovich drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gurlukovich jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dubov wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Gurlukovich manages to pass to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gurlukovich wants to take a breather but Dubov is having none of it. Gurlukovich seems to be looking for submissions.
Dubov is looking to control Gurlukovich's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dubov avoid being mounted? Dubov wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The fighters are battling for position here. Dubov manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Dubov is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gurlukovich dives into side control.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Dubov is trying to work for a sweep but Gurlukovich has mounted him! Gurlukovich trying to control but Dubov is having none of it. Gurlukovich moves to back control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Olav Gurlukovich dominated that round. The cut man is working on Aleksandr Dubov's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Dubov tries to clinch but fails miserably and Gurlukovich counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dubov! Dubov is looking to get to half guard. Gurlukovich controlling the position easily from mount. Gurlukovich looking to secure an arm triangle but Dubov defends it well. Dubov is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dubov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dubov can't escape the position.
Gurlukovich manages to capitalize on a mistake by Dubov to take his back! Gurlukovich is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Dubov defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Olav Gurlukovich has got the better of the ground game so far. Gurlukovich is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Gurlukovich looking to break Dubov's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Dubov remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Gurlukovich will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Well, with Gurlukovich on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Dubov is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dubov trying to get back to his feet but Gurlukovich is in full control for now. Dubov defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gurlukovich is trying to stick to Dubov's back but Dubov is turning into Gurlukovich. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Gurlukovich's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Dubov. Gurlukovich is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gurlukovich has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Dubov doesn't defend quickly enough and Gurlukovich has managed to lock this one up! Can Dubov escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gurlukovich on a fantastic submission victory.
