The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirwan throws a lazy uppercut

and Scuttlebutt counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Scuttlebutt.
Scuttlebutt misses with a body punch.
Scuttlebutt lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kirwan backwards.

It looks like Brandan Kirwan has been cut.
Scuttlebutt doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Kirwan jumps guard and drags Scuttlebutt to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Scuttlebutt working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kirwan's head.
