Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kendall Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyle Alzado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alzado has chosen BLUNT- The Iron Maiden as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kendall Alves had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alzado shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Alzado has his takedown stuffed
and Alves counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Alves throws a hook but Alzado avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alves ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Alzado moves away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Alves enables Alzado to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Alves manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Alves is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Alves seems keen to control Alzado's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alves's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Alves is trying desperately to improve position.

Alzado can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Alves is looking to escape.

Alzado in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Alves lands a nice hook to Alzado's body. Alzado takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Alzado drops his hands momentarily and Alves takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Alves is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Alzado won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Alves off his unconscious opponent!
