Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tj Hooke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenshiro Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamada pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hooke back to the cage. Yamada follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Hooke's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Yamada connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hooke scrambles back to his feet.

Yamada shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hooke eats them both and turns towards Yamada to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Hooke tries to get to his feet but Yamada is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Hooke is in need of a savior and steps in!
