Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Grady Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jun Fat Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Grady Woods!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jun Fat Lee!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Woods drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Woods tries to advance to mount but can't.
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Woods. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Woods has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Lee wants to clinch up but Woods keeps it at a distance.
Woods changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Woods manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Woods drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Lee's face as Woods controls the position.
Woods wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy.

Woods decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Woods shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Woods's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Woods is breathing heavily.

Lee forces Woods back against the cage and clinches.
Lee is trying to maintain a safe position but Woods gets an underhook and turns Lee into the cage.
Lee scores with a nice hook to the head.
Lee with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Lee stuffs the takedown attempt from Woods. Woods gets slowly back to his feet.
Woods swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee.
Lee wants to clinch up but Woods keeps it at a distance.

Woods changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Woods manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Woods tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lee smiles and moves away.

Woods fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lee sprawls well initially but Woods persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Woods wants to pass to mount but Lee is defending the position.
Woods stalling away here and it's allowed Lee to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Woods stands up and waves to Lee to follow him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Woods shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Woods counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lee!
Lee avoids a series of strikes thrown by Woods.

Woods seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lee for as long as he can get away with.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Woods tries to score with some ground and pound. Lee controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Woods has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Woods closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Woods lands in his opponent's guard.

Woods escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Woods is on top in guard.

Woods is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Woods wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.

Jun Fat Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Woods thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Woods stands up and waves to Lee to follow him.

Woods shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Woods was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Woods is working for a guillotine from mount but Lee frees his head quite easily.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Woods, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
