Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Breekman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Landry Saracen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saracen has chosen Bon Jovi - Dead or Alive as his entrance music. Landry Saracen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Landry Saracen!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breekman darts in trying to clinch
and Saracen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Saracen scores with a hook to the body. Breekman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Saracen throws a lazy right hand but Breekman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Breekman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Saracen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Landry Saracen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Breekman jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Saracen is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Saracen and Breekman has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
