Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Manhoef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and McGillicuddy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manhoef comes into the arena with Steady Mobbin' blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Melvin Manhoef!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, McGillicuddy Jones!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Manhoef was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.
Manhoef fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jones has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Manhoef.
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones lands a body shot.
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Manhoef is just out of range.
Jones keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Manhoef.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Manhoef.
Manhoef thumps Jones with a low kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big left from Jones misses.
Jones swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Manhoef makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Jones looks gassed!
Manhoef throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Jones misses with a lunging right hand
and Manhoef counters with a good low kick that Jones was not able to check.
Manhoef moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Manhoef connects with a leg kick. Jones looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Manhoef connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jones momentarily.
Manhoef throws a head kick that Jones semi-blocks.
It looks like McGillicuddy Jones has been cut.
Jones walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jones is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Manhoef connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Manhoef moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Manhoef is looking to slow Jones down with leg kicks.
Manhoef lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Jones crumples to the floor! Manhoef milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
