Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ruben Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Locke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santana comes to the cage accompanied by Deep Space 9mm. Locke has chosen The State Of Massachusetts - Dropkick Murphys as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ruben Santana! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Locke! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santana's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Santana duly obliges.
It looks like Michael Locke has been cut. Locke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Santana fails in his attempt to clinch. Santana throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Locke counters with a good low kick that Santana was not able to check. Locke connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Santana's hands. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Locke checks a low kick from Santana. Santana misses with a two punch combination.
Santana misses the shot to the body. A head kick misses from Santana. Santana scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Santana looks to land a combination but Locke avoids it well. Santana forces Locke back against the cage and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santana tries to break free but Locke pushes him back against the cage. Santana manages to break the clinch.
Santana throws a right and a left that Locke avoids nicely. Santana throws a half hearted mid kick. Santana misses with a hook. Locke ducked under it nicely. Santana waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Locke. Santana throws a head kick but Locke moves out of range.
Good leg kick by Santana there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Santana throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Locke was covering up waiting for the punch and Santana finishes the takedown easily into guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Locke is controlling Santana's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santana wants to control from the top but Locke keeps moving. Santana wanted to stand there but Locke had control of the position. Locke wants to sweep but no luck. Locke working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Santana doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Locke is tightening it up a little... Santana has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Santana reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Santana taps out! nice BJJ there by Locke!
