Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bestigor Tazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bastian Rolfes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tazar's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Beastmaster's Fortress. Bestigor Tazar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolfes tries for a takedown but Tazar circles away easily
and Tazar counters with a stiff right hand.
Rolfes misses with a takedown attempt - Tazar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Rolfes closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tazar stops Rolfes from passing to mount.
Tazar manages to get back to half guard.
Rolfes keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Tazar is looking for a sweep. Rolfes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bastian Rolfes has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Tazar tries to clinch up but Rolfes circles away and keeps his distance.
Tazar just misses with a punch to the body.
Bastian Rolfes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rolfes looks gassed!
Tazar scoring well with a low kick there.
Tazar buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tazar throws a nice inside leg kick.
Tazar lands a nice looking body kick.
Tazar throws a sloppy head kick and Rolfes moves out of range easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tazar lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Tazar fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rolfes.
Tazar lands a leg kick that knocks Rolfes off balance momentarily.

Tazar lands a big head kick that sends Rolfes tumbling to the mat! Tazar takes a step backwards and waves Rolfes back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Bastian Rolfes has been cut.
A slapping leg kick lands for Tazar.
Tazar fakes the leg kick and cracks Rolfes in the body.
Tazar looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Rolfes's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Rolfes takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Tazar fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rolfes.
Tazar throws a nice outside leg kick.
Rolfes blocks the body kick.
Tazar lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rolfes on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Tazar lands a leg kick that knocks Rolfes off balance momentarily.
Tazar throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tazar scores with a nice body kick.
Tazar throws a leg kick which misses Rolfes's front leg but catches the back leg as Rolfes tries to avoid it.
Rolfes swats away the attempt to clinch by Tazar.
Tazar throws a nice outside leg kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Tazar moves into the clinch successfully.

Rolfes decides to pull guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Tazar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Rolfes chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tazar can pounce on him.
Rolfes dives in and grabs Tazar's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tazar pushes down on Rolfes's head and hops out.
Rolfes shoots for a takedown but Tazar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Tazar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rolfes.
Tazar throws a shot to the body.
Tazar lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Tazar doesn't manage to clinch there - Rolfes circles away.
Tazar sizes up Rolfes with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Tazar lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Tazar fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rolfes looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tazar lands a big head kick that sends Rolfes to the canvas! Tazar follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
