Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vince Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uncle Jesse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vince Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Uncle Jesse!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon with a jab.


It looks like Uncle Jesse has been cut.
Dixon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dixon scores with a sloppy right hand. Jesse should have avoided that one.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dixon doesn't manage to clinch there - Jesse circles away.
Dixon slips a straight right by Jesse.
Dixon moves in looking to clinch but Jesse pushes him off.
Dixon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dixon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jesse sprawls well. Jesse wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dixon gets slowly back to his feet.
Dixon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Dixon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jesse manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Jesse counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dixon's guard now.

Dixon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jesse is aware though and is defending well.
Dixon looking to control but Jesse passes into half guard.
Dixon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dixon manages to get to full guard.
Jesse stands and throws Dixon's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Jesse tries to move to mount but Dixon blocks the move with his legs.
Jesse is working Dixon over with some ground and pound from side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dixon wants to control but Jesse postures up.
Jesse is chipping away with strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Check out the look on Jesse's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Dixon can't do much from the bottom here.

Dixon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jesse wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Jesse controls the position.
Dixon wants to control but Jesse postures up.
Jesse lands a few punches from side control.
Dixon tries to bench press Jesse off him but Jesse keeps the position.

Dixon prevents Jesse from moving into mount.
Dixon regains half guard there - taking advantage of Jesse's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jesse passes the guard and advances to mount!
Dixon bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Jesse is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dixon is controlling him.
Jesse has control of Dixon's left arm, preventing Dixon from doing any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dixon looking to sit in guard and control but Jesse gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Jesse is pushing down on Dixon's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dixon is fighting to maintain full guard but Jesse has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jesse scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dixon regains full guard. Nicely done.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A close round but Uncle Jesse will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


A slow jab from Jesse misses its intended target.
Dixon throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Dixon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dixon connects with a nasty looking knee right to Jesse's face.
Dixon with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Jesse takes an elbow to the temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dixon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jesse avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Dixon tries to stall but Jesse uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Dixon tries to throw a body punch but Jesse avoids it by throwing Dixon back against the cage.

Dixon comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
With the fighters up against the cage, Dixon throws an elbow but misses.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Dixon is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Dixon tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jesse avoids it.

Dixon has Jesse pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jesse manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Dixon throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Dixon is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vince Dixon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jesse can't get the takedown.
Dixon is looking to control Jesse's arms but Jesse gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dixon has his back to the cage.
Dixon creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Dixon unloads a knee to the mid-section. Jesse lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dixon has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jesse uses from the top position.

Dixon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jesse defends it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dixon is on top in guard.

Jesse really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dixon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dixon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jesse is keeping the position for now.
Jesse is controlling Dixon's posture.

Dixon won't allow Jesse to sweep him here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Uncle Jesse was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Jesse manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dixon on his heels. He'll look to pass Dixon's guard now, I'm sure.
Jesse wants to pass the guard but Dixon is keeping the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dixon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jesse defends well.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Jesse thows a body shot but no joy.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Jesse takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Jesse circles away from the clinch attempt.
A right-left combo lands from Dixon.
Jesse scores with a three punch combo!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dixon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dixon misses with a combination
and Jesse counters with a huge left! Dixon is in big trouble! He's backing up but Jesse isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Dixon from any more damage. A dominating finish by Jesse!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Uncle Jesse!
