Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gabe Holter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saul Rubenstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saul Rubenstein has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gabe Holter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Saul Rubenstein! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holter scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Holter clinches with his opponent.
Rubenstein has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Holter is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Holter breaks from the clinch.
Rubenstein shoots in and drives through. Holter sprawls well. Rubenstein closes the distance and clinches up with Holter, looking for a takedown. Rubenstein pushes Holter against the cage but Holter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gabe Holter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Rubenstein. Holter lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Gabe Holter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Holter swinging wildly here.
Holter moves into the clinch. Holter breaks from the clinch.
Rubenstein fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. A good leg kick by Holter. Holter drives through and clinches with Rubenstein against the cage.
Rubenstein tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Holter has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Holter is trying to force a seperation but Rubenstein has the dominant position. Holter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A chopping leg kick lands by Holter. That kick from Holter tenderised Rubenstein's leg. Rubenstein is trying to keep his angry face on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Holter clinches with his opponent.
Holter gets underhooks to prevent Rubenstein's takedown attempt.
Rubenstein has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Holter uses from the top position. Rubenstein is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Holter is looking to stand up but Rubenstein won't let him. Rubenstein trying to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gabe Holter has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Holter connects with the punch. Holter connects with a high kick. Holter throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Gabe Holter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice jab there from Holter. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rubenstein. Holter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rubenstein, pushing him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Holter comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Saul Rubenstein has been cut. Holter creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Rubenstein's defenses. Rubenstein tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Holter smiles and moves away.
Rubenstein will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A punch lands to the side of Rubenstein 's head but he takes it in his stride. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Holter clinches up against the cage. Rubenstein drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Holter gets the underhooks and prevents it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gabe Holter dominated that round. The cut man is working on Saul Rubenstein's cut. That's time! Holter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rubenstein has a takedown stuffed. Rubenstein tries to move into range but Holter moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Holter gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Rubenstein gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rubenstein is working for a kimura but Holter is defending it quite comfortably.
Rubenstein is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Holter defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holter tries to kick Rubenstein off in order to stand up. Rubenstein Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Holter tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rubenstein looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rubenstein cracks Holter with a big elbow. Rubenstein in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Holter is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
