Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Thompkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noel Spektor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noel Spektor is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spektor circles away from the clinch attempt
and Spektor counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Thompkins is leaning against Spektor and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Spektor is trying to drag Thompkins to the mat but Thompkins just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Spektor goes for a takedown attempt but Thompkins pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Spektor gets a double leg takedown into Thompkins's guard.
Thompkins is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Thompkins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Spektor on the ground.

Spektor works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spektor throwing shots but Thompkins is blocking nicely.
Spektor seems to be working for a kimura but Thompkins defends the submission attempt.
Well, if Spektor is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Thompkins tries to break the clinch but Spektor is controlling the position.

Thompkins has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Spektor is looking to sinch up a triangle. Thompkins throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Spektor's body to avoid the submission. Spektor has instead reached around Thompkins's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Spektor arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
