Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bolo Zhan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Space Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bolo Zhan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Space Boy!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Zhan is controlling the pace.
Zhan passes to side control.
Boy tries to buck Zhan off but Zhan is having none of it.
Zhan controls the position from side control.
Zhan works to advance to full mount. Boy defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Boy is trying to escape the mount.
Zhan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zhan trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Zhan looking to control but Boy is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bolo Zhan.

Zhan manages to capitalize on a mistake by Boy to take his back!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Zhan has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Boy's body.

Zhan just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Bolo Zhan just wasn't active enough.

Bolo Zhan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zhan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

Boy has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Zhan!
Boy cracks Zhan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Boy wants to control the pace but Zhan is squirming around nicely.
Zhan tries to hold on but Boy pushes him away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zhan is trying to control but can't.
Zhan wants to improve his position but Boy is controlling well.

Zhan is refusing to be controlled, as Boy sits in half guard.
Nice strikes from Boy there.
Boy seems to be working for a kimura but Zhan defends the submission attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Zhan is staying active underneath Boy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Boy might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Zhan kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That was a close round but I would say that Bolo Zhan will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Boy goes for an armbar but Zhan turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Zhan.

Zhan is looking to take a break and control but Boy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Space Boy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
