Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vaan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Walker. Vaan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Jon E Walker has been cut. Vaan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vaan wants it to stay on the feet. Walker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Walker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walker scoring with strikes but Vaan is staying in there.
It looks like Gabranth Vaan has been cut. Vaan blocking the ground and pound. Vaan taking shots to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Walker sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Walker thowing shots but they're missing. Walker controlling the pace for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Vaan is now in Walker's guard. A big mistake from Walker there, giving up the dominant position! Walker will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Vaan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Walker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vaan has managed to get both his arms back between Walker's legs - danger averted. Walker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Walker is trying to keep Vaan in close.
Vaan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Walker looking for a guillotine here but Vaan defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jon E Walker. Walker darts in and clinches Vaan up against the cage. Walker is trying to drag Vaan to the mat but Vaan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon E Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Walker breaks the clinch.
Walker takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nice jab there from Vaan. Vaan attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jon E Walker will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Walker doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Jon E Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walker ducks right into an uppercut from Vaan. Walker drops his hands momentarily and Vaan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Vaan cracks Walker with a hook to the temple - Walker is on wobbly legs here! Vaan swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Walker falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Vaan wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Gabranth Vaan!
