Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Faus Delacruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Kazarian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delacruz comes to the cage accompanied by never say never. Faus Delacruz has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Faus Delacruz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Kazarian! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delacruz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kazarian counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kazarian seems to be looking for submissions.
Kazarian with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Kazarian decides to return to a standing position. Delacruz closes the distance but Kazarian moves to the side and Kazarian holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Delacruz is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Delacruz misses with an elbow strike.
Delacruz wants a takedown.
Delacruz turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Kazarian is looking for a sweep. Kazarian sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kazarian is trying to get back to full guard. Kazarian gets full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kazarian looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kazarian working for a triangle but Delacruz defends it easily.
Delacruz being controlled here momentarily. Delacruz wanted to stand there but Kazarian had control of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delacruz wants to control from the top but Kazarian keeps moving. Kazarian had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Delacruz defends it easily. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kazarian can do anything to dispel that myth. Kazarian has his foot on Delacruz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Delacruz works his way back into a safe position though. Kazarian is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Delacruz prevents a takedown attempt there.
Delacruz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kazarian walks away with a smile on his face. Delacruz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Faus Delacruz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delacruz with a lazy takedown attempt and Kazarian decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Delacruz's guard. Kazarian trying to control the position from guard on top but Delacruz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Delacruz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kazarian can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Delacruz is breathing heavily. Delacruz trying to keep a closed guard but Kazarian is proving a slippery customer.
Kazarian in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Delacruz wants to sweep but no luck. Kazarian not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kazarian accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kazarian advances to half guard. Kazarian not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kazarian stands up and beckons Delacruz to join him on the feet. Kazarian shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Delacruz napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kazarian wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Delacruz, who protects the arm well. Kazarian working the ground and pound but Delacruz is defending the strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kazarian is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Delacruz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kazarian decides to take the fight back to the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Kazarian dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kazarian gets the takedown into side control. Delacruz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kazarian wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Kazarian just content to control the position. Kazarian is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Delacruz has escaped the position, nice work there. Kazarian wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Delacruz, who protects the arm well. Delacruz is being controlled here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kazarian has an Americana. Delacruz didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kazarian is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kazarian hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Tony Kazarian!
