Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ray Cappo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnnie Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray Cappo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ray Cappo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johnnie Walker! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cappo is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Walker. Cappo tries to close the distance and clinch but Walker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cappo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cappo looks to clinch and Walker counters with a lovely straight right hand! Cappo tries to keep at a distance but Walker has taken the fight into the clinch. Walker lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Walker has Cappo pressed against the cage.
Cappo has Walker pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Walker manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. A left hand lands to the body for Walker.

Walker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Walker fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Cappo gets caught flat footed, as Walker shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Walker's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Cappo tries to land a sweep but no joy. Cappo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Walker loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Walker is looking to work some ground and pound but Cappo has wrist control. Cappo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cappo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Walker has picked Cappo up and slammed him! Cappo can't keep hold of the triangle and Walker manages to pass to side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Walker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Walker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Walker landing a few strikes. Walker working the ground and pound. Cappo tries to bench press Walker off him but Walker keeps the position. Cappo takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Cappo tries to improve position but can't. Walker has an Americana. Cappo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Walker is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Walker hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Johnnie Walker!
