The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Cannon looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Still in half guard, Cannon seems content to control.
Cannon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
RedDevil might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
RedDevil is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cannon scores with a couple of nice shots.
RedDevil tries to roll over but Cannon keeps him under control.
Cannon perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

RedDevil on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if RedDevil tries to get out of the position.

Cannon slows the pace down in half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Cannon stands up out of the half guard.
Cannon shoots in and gets a takedown into RedDevil's guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Issac Cannon hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
RedDevil fails with the takedown
and Cannon counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cannon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so RedDevil is just riding it out for now. Cannon eventually gives up the hold.
RedDevil tries to roll over but Cannon keeps him under control.

Cannon is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Cannon is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cannon in particular looking to stall.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cannon decides to stand and escape the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cannon has closed the distance and engaged RedDevil in a clinch.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Cannon throws a head kick that misses
and RedDevil counters with a thumping low kick.
Cannon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cannon keeps the fight on the outside.
Cannon throws a push kick but RedDevil slaps the foot to one side.
RedDevil misses with a takedown
and Cannon counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Cannon decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Cannon tries to clinch but RedDevil is having none of it.
Cannon clinches with his opponent.
RedDevil jumps guard but Cannon stands there with RedDevil around his waist. RedDevil gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
RedDevil tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander RedDevil. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cannon looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Well, if Cannon is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Cannon works his way into full mount!
Cannon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Cannon breaks from RedDevil's wrist control and lands an elbow.
It looks like Alexander RedDevil has been cut.

RedDevil knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cannon on the ground.
Cannon lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Alexander RedDevil's cut is getting worse.

RedDevil is desperately trying to improve his position but Cannon has a good base and remains in mount.
Cannon working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. RedDevil turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Cannon off and cradles RedDevil's limp body as Cannon celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Issac Cannon!
