Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steve Dino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bert Ernie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dino comes to the cage accompanied by RAWR. Bert Ernie looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Bert Ernie!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ernie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dino counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Bert Ernie has been cut.
Ernie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ernie takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Steve Dino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dino misses with a double jab.
Dino tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ernie paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ernie goes for a takedown attempt but Dino pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ernie shoots in and drives through. Dino sprawls well.
Ernie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dino tries to avoid it but Ernie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dino to the ground. Dino escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dino fails to land with a series of punches.
Dino throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Ernie counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Ernie is looking to stand up but Dino won't let him.
Dino wants to stand and escape but Ernie is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dino is looking to stand up but Ernie isn't so interested in that idea.
Ernie tries to free his leg and advance position but Dino is retaining full guard.

Ernie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dino keeps working.

Ernie wants to work for an arm triangle but Dino is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Ernie decides to stand and escape the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Ernie rushes Dino and presses him up against the cage.
Dino wants to get back to striking at distance but Ernie won't allow it.

Ernie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dino keeps working.

Ernie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dino doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ernie.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bert Ernie dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dino falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ernie counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Ernie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Dino wants to stand but Ernie is controlling the position.
Dino keeping moving, preventing Ernie from controlling successfully.
Ernie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dino swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dino kicks Ernie off and gets to his feet.
Ernie is breathing heavily.

Ernie takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Ernie shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Dino misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dino rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ernie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Ernie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dino circles away.
Ernie shoots in and drives through. Dino sprawls well.
Dino connects with a nice looking jab.
Dino swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ernie counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ernie.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Ernie. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
