Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesper Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rush comes to the cage accompanied by Tom Sawyer - Rush. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jesper Rush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thiago Suzuki! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rush tries a head kick but it misses.
A big left from Suzuki misses. A swing and a miss from Rush. Rush throws a left and a right that both miss
and Suzuki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rush throws a sloppy head kick and Suzuki counters with a slapping leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rush misses with a leg kick so Suzuki counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Suzuki being controlled here momentarily. Rush looking to hit a scissor sweep but Suzuki is one step ahead there. Suzuki throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Suzuki trying to control but Rush is working from the bottom. Rush is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Suzuki thows a leg kick but Rush checks it and Rush counters with a good low kick that Suzuki was not able to check. Rush is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Suzuki's half guard. Suzuki trying to control from the bottom.
Rush works his foot free and advances to mount. Suzuki tries to reverse the position but Rush maintains control. Suzuki tries to hold on but Rush postures up. Rush jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Suzuki manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rush working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Suzuki is trying to work for a sweep but Rush has mounted him! Suzuki tries to hold on but Rush postures up. Rush looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Suzuki tries to hold on but Rush postures up. Rush unloading with bombs!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Suzuki really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Suzuki wants to hold on but Rush pushes him away. Rush controlling the position easily from mount. Suzuki is looking to get to half guard. Rush wants to finish this one by submission but Suzuki is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rush. Suzuki is squirming around, avoiding Rush's attempts to control the action. Rush landing strikes, looking to finish! Suzuki can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesper Rush dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rush walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Suzuki checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. The fighters circling - Suzuki throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rush throws a leg kick that is checked and Suzuki finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rush misses with a few strikes there.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suzuki loads up on a big right hand but Rush slips the punch. Good work by Suzuki as he checks the leg kick. Suzuki thows a leg kick but Rush checks it and Rush counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Suzuki thinking. Rush throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Suzuki counters with a slapping leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rush avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Suzuki misses with a right hand and Rush connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Rush keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rush chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Suzuki can pounce on him.
Rush fails with the takedown. Rush slips under a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rush throws a nice outside leg kick. Suzuki with a lazy takedown attempt and Rush counters with a nice double leg into side control. Suzuki won't be happy with that. Suzuki wants to control but Rush postures up. Rush in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Suzuki is looking for a sweep. Suzuki throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Rush tries to land a leg kick but Suzuki saw it coming and moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesper Rush dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Rush tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Suzuki is able to avoid easily. Rush connects with the punch. Suzuki misses with a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rush shoots in and drives through. Suzuki sprawls well. Rush lands a front kick. Suzuki throws a leg kick that misses. Suzuki looks for a takedown but Rush sprawls well. Thiago Suzuki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rush throws a sloppy head kick and Suzuki moves out of range easily. Suzuki scores with a leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick by Suzuki misses and Suzuki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Suzuki slips a jab and a cross from Rush.
Suzuki chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rush can pounce on him.
A low kick from Suzuki is predictable there and Rush counters with a nice uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A low kick from Rush misses and Suzuki counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Jesper Rush is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rush throws a head kick that misses and Suzuki counters with a leg kick. Rush throws a low kick but Suzuki avoids it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Suzuki throws a leg kick and Rush counters with a stiff right hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Jesper Rush showed his dominance in that final round. Well Rush has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
