Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Hain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Montana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hain comes to the cage accompanied by Time Frame by Dom and Roland. Montana has chosen Push It To The Limit as his entrance music. Antonio Montana will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Hain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Antonio Montana! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Hain looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hain tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Montana paws at him with a jab and circles away. Montana swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Montana paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Montana is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Hain is looking to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hain tries to clinch up enabling Montana to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Montana throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hain looks for a takedown but Montana sprawls well. Hain looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Montana is fending him off so far but Hain persists. Nope, Montana circles away and we're back to standing. Hain clinches up with Montana and pushes him back against the cage. Hain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Montana misses with an uppercut. Hain looks to clinch and Montana counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Montana moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montana throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hain stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Hain avoids the body shot from Montana.
Hain tries to clinch up but Montana circles away and keeps his distance. Hain slips a jab from Montana. Hain tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Montana counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Sam Hain has been cut. Montana displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hain throws out the jab. Montana circles away from the clinch attempt and Montana connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Montana is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montana moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Hain takes one to the side of the head.
Hain shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Hain. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hain takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Montana lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Hain looks for a takedown but Montana sprawls well. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jab, jab by Montana - just one landing. Hain fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Decent striking displayed by Montana there. Montana circles away from the clinch attempt and Montana counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hain thinking. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antonio Montana dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sam Hain's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Hain tries to clinch and Montana counters with a nice uppercut. Montana throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hain's head. Hain tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hain takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Montana circles away from the clinch attempt and Montana counters with an outside leg kick.
Hain moves into the clinch successfully.
Montana working hard to break the clinch. Hain tries for a takedown. No joy.
Hain misses with some punches.
Hain has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Montana is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Hain tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Montana just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Hain. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Montana pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Montana throws a sloppy head kick and Hain moves out of range easily. Hain throws an off balance right hand
and Montana counters with a slapping leg kick. Montana has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Hain looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Montana is fending him off so far but Hain persists. Nope, Montana circles away and we're back to standing. The crowd cheers as Montana lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hain doesn't seem phased though. Montana throws a body punch but Hain moves out of range. A head kick misses from Montana. Montana connects with a jab. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Hain. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Hain feints and as Montana raises his hands in defense, Hain changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montana is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Hain trying to control the position from guard on top but Montana is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hain throws and elbow that misses. Montana uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hain's guard. Nice move by Montana! Hain working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Montana doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Montana manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hain looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hain might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Montana looking to pass the guard. Montana wants to control from the top but Hain keeps moving. Hain looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Montana has picked Hain up and slammed him! Hain can't keep hold of the triangle and Montana manages to pass to side control! Montana is looking to take a break and control but Hain is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hain manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hain is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Montana moves into full mount! Hain won't be happy about that! Hain can't escape the position.
Montana get's back to his feet. Montana circles away from the clinch attempt and Montana counters with a nice leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antonio Montana showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Sam Hain's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Hain moves to clinch but Montana breaks away enabling Montana to counter with a crisp jab. Nice defenses there by Hain. Montana fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Montana throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Montana gets caught napping as Hain dives in and scores a takedown. Montana manages to retain guard. Montana keeping full guard, as Hain tries to pass. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hain accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hain has gone for a leg lock! Montana slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hain's guard. Hain working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Montana doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Montana manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Montana is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Hain is looking for a triangle but Montana pushes his legs off easily.

Montana wants to pass the guard but Hain is keeping the position. Antonio Montana is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hain is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hain is just content to waste time from the top position. Montana takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Montana seems keen to control Hain's posture. Montana has momentary wrist control but Hain slips an elbow through the middle. Hain throwing strikes but missing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hain passes Montana's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Montana trying to control but Hain postures up.
Montana keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Montana won't allow Hain to pass to mount. Sam Hain has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hain wants to take a breather but Montana is having none of it. Hain is pressing down on Montana's thigh, looking to free his foot. Montana is holding on for now. Montana tries to get to full guard but Hain has control of the leg. Hain is looking to take a break and control but Montana is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Montana is trying to stand up here but Hain is controlling him well. Hain prevents Montana from improving his position. Hain trying to pass the guard but Montana defending well. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Nice sprawl there from Montana as Hain shoots in. Hain stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Montana. Hain throws a left and a right that both miss
and Montana counters with a straight right hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Sam Hain showed his dominance in that final round. I think Montana has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
