Mendez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Paleface- Helsinki-Shangri-La. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnarsson thuds a left hand into Mendez's body.
Mendez shoots in looking for a takedown but Ragnarsson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mendez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mendez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ragnarsson sprawls well. Ragnarsson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mendez gets slowly back to his feet.
Mendez fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gregores Mendez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A slapping leg kick lands for Ragnarsson.
Mendez blocks a head kick by Ragnarsson.
Ragnarsson slips a jab and a cross from Mendez.

Ragnarsson throws a front kick that sends Mendez stumbling back into the cage.

Ragnarsson lands a big head kick that sends Mendez tumbling to the mat! Ragnarsson takes a step backwards and waves Mendez back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Gregores Mendez has been cut.
Ragnarsson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mendez's calf.

Ragnarsson cracks Mendez with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ragnarsson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mendez to stand back up!

Mendez is rocked!
Ragnarsson sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Mendez's defenses. It connects perfectly with Mendez's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
