The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuus tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mayer was well out of range. Poor timing from Kuus.
Mayer slaps away a takedown attempt from Kuus, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kuus blocks a jab.
Mayer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kuus uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mayer.
Mayer throws an overhand right that lands on Kuus's shoulder, as Kuus tries to avoid the shot.
Mayer misses with a hook.
Mayer throws a combination. Kuus tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Mart Kuus has been cut.
Kuus looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mayer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Mayer is looking to chop away at Kuus's legs.
Mayer missing with a left hand there. Kuus was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kuus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mayer as he avoids it easily.
Kuus takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kuus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mayer throws a monster overhand right that drops Kuus! Mayer follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
