Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nikolino Visnjic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Milosz Nizinski!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Visnjic slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Milosz Nizinski has been cut.
Nizinski shoots for a double leg takedown but Visnjic sprawls well. He's pushed Nizinski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Visnjic smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Nizinski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Visnjic as he jumps to the side.
Visnjic catches Nizinski with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Visnjic looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Visnjic stuffs the takedown.
Nikolino Visnjic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Milosz Nizinski.
Visnjic connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Visnjic fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Visnjic defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nizinski.
Visnjic feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Nizinski sprawling to the canvas! Nizinski rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Visnjic finish him?!
That has opened up Milosz Nizinski's cut even more.
Visnjic lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Nizinski head around and knocks him out cold! Visnjic hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nikolino Visnjic!
