Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khaldor Killi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Khaldor Killi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fred Liddel! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killi misses with a takedown attempt - Liddel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Killi looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Killi lands with a nice body kick. Killi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Liddel moves into the clinch. Killi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Liddel walks away with a smile on his face. Killi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Liddel drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. A left and a right from Killi both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Fred Liddel has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Killi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Liddel.
Liddel circles away from the clinch attempt.
Killi cracks the inside of Liddel's front leg. Killi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Liddel holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khaldor Killi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Liddel prevents Killi from breaking the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killi tries to break free but Liddel pushes him back against the cage. Liddel manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Killi swings wildly with an uppercut but Liddel uses good head movement to avoid it. A frustrated look appears on Killi's face as he tries to break the clinch. Killi is looking to break free of the clinch but Liddel has double underhooks. Killi fails to pull the fight into his guard.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Liddel takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Killi has a couple of punches blocked by Liddel.
Killi has had enough of the clinch but Liddel keeps him there for the moment. Liddel keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Killi's efforts to push away. Liddel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Killi gets tackled into the cage by Liddel. Liddel maintains the clinch. Liddel is stalling here.
Liddel has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Killi uses from the top position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Liddel seems keen to control Killi's posture. Killi trying to stand up but can't free himself from Liddel's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Liddel pulls Killi in to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Fred Liddel. Liddel misses with a jab, cross combination.

Killi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Liddel works over Killi's head and body with a nice combination. Liddel moves out of range as Killi strikes. Liddel moves in looking to clinch but Killi pushes him off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Liddel. Those never looked like landing. Killi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Killi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Liddel sprawls well. Liddel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Killi gets slowly back to his feet. Liddel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Liddel wants it to stay on the feet. Liddel scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Liddel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Killi keeps working. Liddel misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Killi is looking for a sweep. Liddel tries for a kimura but Killi is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Khaldor Killi will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Fred Liddel's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Killi scores with a jab. Liddel acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Liddel is looking to clinch but Killi is avoiding it.

Liddel takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Liddel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Killi is trying to control but Liddel passes into side control!
Killi is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Liddel slows the pace down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killi is trying to work for a sweep but Liddel has mounted him! Killi tries to improve his position but instead Liddel has taken his back! Killi prevents Liddel from getting a body triangle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Killi is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Liddel.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Killi trying to control the hands but Liddel breaks the grip. Killi preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Liddel. Killi wants to get back to his feet. Killi tries to roll but Liddel sticks to his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Killi breaks Liddel's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Liddel is pulling down on Killi's head. It's preventing any offense from Killi, at least for the moment. Liddel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Liddel controlling the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Killi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Liddel moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Killi has a takedown stuffed. Liddel misses with a wild combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Liddel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Killi manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Liddel is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Liddel trying to control but Killi is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Liddel is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fred Liddel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Fred Liddel's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Killi throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Liddel checks the leg kick nicely there.

Liddel shoots in and bounces Killi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Killi is trying to control the position but Liddel postures up. Liddel preventing the sweep. Killi throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Liddel trying to control the position from guard on top but Killi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Liddel avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Liddel is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Liddel thows a big elbow that misses. Killi is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Liddel dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Killi can't do much from the bottom here. Liddel tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Liddel looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Killi is avoiding damage well.
Killi looking for a sweep but Liddel has passed into full mount! Oh no! Liddel content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Killi has given up his back here.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Liddel. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Killi is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Liddel has got one arm under Killi's chin. This could be trouble... Killi trying to control the other hand but Liddel gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Killi has tapped out! The fight is over!
